Homeschooling! I have the privilege to be able to homeschool my daughter(and son when old enough)! What a blessing! I enjoy this soo much! This is our first year, and it's been soo amazing to see how much my daughter has grown, matured, and flourished! She is turning into an amazing young lady, with lots of godly character, she's not perfect by any means, but what a transformation that has taken place. I truly believe that it is a result of being able to school her myself, she's learning how to behave from an adult all day, and not a room full of other kids that do not know how to behave, and a teacher that is trying her best.
Here I will posts stuff that is going on from time to time in our "school house"! Enjoy!

For our homeschooling group, they put on a family supper, with a Mexican theme, to show their monthly character trait of "hospitality". So by the idea of a friend we decided to study Mexico in school too.
Here are some projects Mikayla did for this short unit study.
Working hard on her salt playdough map of Mexico
She decided on her own with the left over salt playdough to make these little Mexican people!
