Raising Maidens of Virtue

I am currently reading and going through this book with Mikayla, and wow, what a good book!

They should be teaching this in schools across the nation. Our society soo needs to get back to "Raising Maidens of Virtue".  It seems like there are far and few mothers trying to instill biblical principles in their daughters(and sons). What I love about this book is how it's a great bible study to do with your daughters as well, once they are old enough of course. But if you daughters are not old enough yet, still read this yourself, so that you to can be encouraged, reminded, and taught what  you should and can be instilling in them at a young age. Through out the book it points you to scripture to go along with the topic.
Just had to share this good book. Maybe it can help someone else out, like it has me, and maybe and prayerfully we can see more Virtuous Maidens.

ps
you can get here at a great price right now, only $10!

Sullivan Turns One!

Well it has been a really really long time since I've blogged! I have been so busy. The Lord answered a huge prayer for us and a renter was found for our house that we were not living in, and in the process, brought about the most amazing situation, that only God could do. The people that were interested in renting the house, were looking for something closer to their work from where they lived. Thru talking with them, they were telling of their home and it sounded just like everything we have wanted, so long story short, we all wanted to do a "house swap"! So lots of packing and moving, but it's all worth it! We now live on 30acres, of which 5 is field. Lot's of room for gardening, our goats, and prayerfully horses come spring! :) The house is only 5yrs old, and I just love the layout! God is soo good to us! Thank you Lord!
We got all moved in a setted before Christmas, which was a wonderful day, spent with Church family and family!! And of course right before Christmas Sullivan turned ONE!
Where does time go?? that was such a fast year! I can hardly believe than my little baby is One year old now!! He is getting to be sooo funny too! What a little personality he has! Since his birthday is right next to Christmas, we decided to have his party on Jan 7th. Here are some pictures from the day! We went with a blue and green theme! And yes defiantly needed to have blue and green cupcakes to go with it! ;)
